Two Girls. One Question. One Movement.
The Question That Started It All
It started with a nine-year-old girl, a bedroom wall covered in affirmations, and a question that would not let her go. What about the girls? Ariel Ford observed her mother pouring community support into young men and realized that empowering young girls required the same level of investment. So she took initiative. She approached her mom with a bold idea, gathered her cousin Adriene, and created a safe space where girls could be seen, encouraged, and reminded of their self-worth. Two years later, this youth-led movement, which began at a kitchen table, has blossomed into a community effort impacting families and neighborhoods across the region. This is what happens when a girl knows she is enough.

We believe every girl deserves to know she is worthy before the world decides to tell her otherwise. We believe mistakes do not define her. Challenges do not cancel her dreams. And she is always, always allowed to grow, learn, and try again.
